Objective
By the end of the course the trainee should be able to..
- Understand the principles, creation and editing of sketch geometry.
- Construct model geometry using the range of the modelling functions available, such as patterning, shelling, filleting etc.
- Incorporate and work with the Design library.
- Be proficient in the use of configurations, design tables and equations.
- Effectively edit and make design changes to your models.
- Work with and manage your product through use of assemblies and assembly modelling.
- Produce assembly and detail drawings including Drawings Sheets, Views, Annotations, Bills of Materials.
- Control your environment with application and System Settings.
- Collaborate with an understanding of eDrawings.
Prerequisites
- Experience of the Windows operating system.
- A basic understanding of SolidWorks through reading of the supplied and online tutorial information.
