Xype and the SQLI Group Announce the Creation of Joint Venture: the XypeSQLI EEIG
UK based Xype, the IT company specializing in services based on CAD, PLM and PDM tools and SQLI, the French leader in consulting and e-business services, have announced the formation of a new joint venture – the Xype-SQLI European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) - to strengthen their presence as a tier one supplier to the EADS group.
Combining the Best in IT Services
Xype announced today the formation of a joint venture with the France based SQLI Group. Each company has a 50% stake in the group and aims to combine the strengths of both companies into a strong partnership:
Xype is a leading lT services company specializing in consulting, development, integration and training for CAD tools (SolidWorks, 3DVIA, Catia v5, etc.), PDM tools (Product Data Management) and PLM tools (Product Lifecycle Management) such as Windchill.
The SQLI Group specializes in internet technologies, new SAP products and Business Intelligence. Being the first French IT consulting company to have integrated the CMMI quality models and already CMMI certified to level 3, the Group currently deploys level 4 and 5 CMMI practices throughout all of its agencies (11 in France and 11 others abroad).
The two organisations are both recognized by their major clients for their solid technological and professional expertise.
The XypeSQLI EEIG aims to pool this state-of-the-art expertise with the aim of offering a complete and superior quality range of services to European companies in general and the EADS group in particular. Together, the two organisations are now able to bid confidently for global specialist consultancy on an industrial and international scale.
Ideal Geographical Coverage
To further strengthen their expertise for the EADS group, the XypeSQLI EEIG will rely on not only their combined strengths, but also on an almost perfect commercial and geographical area “fit.”
Xype will service the UK and German markets, whereas SQLI will cover France and Spain and will similarly offer their offshore Moroccan capacities.
The creation of this joint venture is expected to open new opportunities for international growth of both organisations in the next three years.
Pete Lewis, Managing Director of Xype, said:
“Just like SQLI, we've based our growth on our cutting edge and superior quality expertise.
Together, we're going to be able to strengthen our consultancy capabilities for the EADS group whilst respecting these fundamental principles.
The quality of our teams and the strong combined work expertise give us great confidence in the growth prospects for the XypeSQLI EEIG."
Yahya El Mir, SQLI Chairman of the Board, added:
"With this joint venture, our main objective is to better service the EADS group and assist them in their growth throughout the world.
This partnership corresponds to a desire held in common with Xype to supply remarkably high levels of quality and expertise to a European organisation that is likewise as advanced on the technological level."
